About Me

I am a trauma-informed counsellor with a person-centered approach that is grounded in existentialism.  I also appreciate and use somatic, experiential, and mindfulness techniques, and am qualified to use EMDR.

I work with adults (age 18 years and older) facing life’s challenges.  An area of specialty close to my heart is working with women who are pregnant or newly parenting.

I am registered as a Canadian Certified Counsellor through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association,  a Counselling Therapist through the Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta, and am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists.  My education and experience have led me to value deeply the innate wisdom and dignity of all individuals, as well as each person’s ability to heal, grow, and find their unique purpose.
