Kendra Gall
M.A., Counselling Therapist, Registered Psychologist, Canadian Certified Counsellor
About Cove:
I am a trauma-informed counsellor with a person-centered approach that is grounded in existentialism. I also appreciate and use somatic, experiential, and mindfulness techniques, and am qualified to use EMDR.
I work with adults (age 18 years and older) facing life’s challenges. An area of specialty close to my heart is working with women who are pregnant or newly parenting.
I am registered as a Canadian Certified Counsellor through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, a Counselling Therapist through the Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta, and am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. My education and experience have led me to value deeply the innate wisdom and dignity of all individuals, as well as each person’s ability to heal, grow, and find their unique purpose.
Connection and compatibility are key elements to a successful counselling relationship, so please contact me for a free 20 minute consultation.
Why Cove?
I chose the name Cove for my counselling practice because of the way it represents safety - Not as a rejection of hardship, nor a place of permanence, but as protected space to find refuge while gathering strength, resources, hope, and perspective. My hope is that through our conversations, we can learn from each other about courage, joy, and peace under the protection of our therapeutic relationship and shared wisdom.
